Energy Prices (mid August 2013)

Since the start of August, both short-term and longer-term prices have seen a weakening, with day-ahead falling to its lowest level since early July (below £46/MWh).

Following a summer of unseasonably low levels of demand, a fall in temperature and industrial demand should kick in to see a steady rise in prices.
