Energy Prices (mid October 12)

The wholesale energy markets have remained fairly steady over the last couple of weeks with:

Gas at around 65p/th

Electricity at around £51/MWh

Meanwhile, Oil has started the rise again after its recent back off, and has risen to around $114/barrel, on the back of a tightening of EU sanctions against Iran.

Coal has reached its lowest level since April 2009 to approximately $93/MT.
